Lemon Pie
Lemon Pie (ala Martin Big Banana y Eze)
Ingredients
2 packets of biscuits (coffee biscuits or “Butterkekse”)
100g butter
juice of 3 lemons
200ml condensed milk
4 egg whites
4-5 tablespoons sugar
Directions
Cover baking tin with baking paper, heat oven to 180°C.
Crumble biscuits and mix with melted butter and put into baking tin to form the bottom of the cake
Heat in oven for approx. 10mins. In the meantime whisk the egg whites stiff, gently add sugar.
Mix lemon juice and condensed milk and pour atop of bottom.
Add egg white-sugar.
Back into the oven for another 5-10mins (until top starts to change colour)
