Things I want to do before I die

Naturally, this list is growing and changing on a regular basis. This is how far I’ve come to this day. Suggestions and comments are – as always – appreciated:

  • Attend a Boxing Day Test Match at the MCG
  • Attend an ANZAC Day Match at the MCG (ANZAC Day 2008)
  • Backpack around the world (alicegoesrtw 2006/07)
  • Be a bridesmaid
  • Be a mum
  • Become a reasonably good cook (and it doesn’t stop there)
  • Become fluent in English (by and by and still eager to improve)
  • Become fluent in another language (Spanish since approx. 2009)
  • Be able to hold a conversation in Spanish (definitely since my trip to South America in June 2006)
  • Be able to hold a conversation in Arabic (completed my degree in May 2006)
  • Be able to hold a conversation in Russian (used to)
  • Be able to hold a conversation in French (used to)
  • Be Bond. Or Bond girl.
  • Complete the Annapurna circuit (April 2007)
  • Dance Tango in Buenos Aires (June 2006)
  • Dive Milford Sound (November 2006)
  • Dive the Great Barrier Reef (August 2006)
  • Dive the Similans
  • Dive the Marshall Islands (or equivalent Southern Pacific islands)
  • Dive with hammerhead sharks
  • Dive with manta rays
  • Dive with whale sharks
  • Do something that makes someone write and publish a story about me (2007 about my RTW)
  • Drink butter tea in Tibet (April 2001)
  • Drink coca tea in Bolivia (Juli 2006)
  • Drink guinness in Ireland
  • Drive across the Nullarbor Plain
  • Eat lobster (Christmas 2007)
  • Experience Las Vegas (September 2001)
  • Float in the Dead Sea (around Easter 1997)
  • Get married
